El cordobés Miguel Ángel Torres tuvo claro desde pequeño que sería alfarero ceramista. Hoy, con más de medio siglo de vida, posee la Carta de Maestro Artesano que otorga la Junta de Andalucía. Fue en 2014 cuando recibió tal reconocimiento. En su taller de artesanía en La Rambla, provincia de Córdoba, trabaja con barro y con gres de alta temperatura. Totalmente autodidacta, se ha consolidado como empresario del sector. Desde 1999 dirige su propia empresa y en la actualidad intenta transmitir sus conocimientos a nuevas generaciones para que el oficio no desaparezca. Todas sus creaciones son totalmente artesanas, desde las piezas hasta el esmalte con el que las decora.
